Every year, donors like you help Holt's programs provide life-changing support for children and families in Korea who are most in need.
The most vulnerable familes in Korea are often those headed by a single parent. The stigma of unwed motherhood remains entrenched in Korean culture.... Children primarily come into institutional care either for this reason or because of their parents' financial inability to support their children. Many children in institutional care have medical and developmental conditions requiring specialized care to reach their highest potential.
With support from donors like you, Holt's programs empower single mothers to parent their children, help care for children and adults with special needs at the Holt Ilsan Center, and support efforts to seek permanent, loving families for children through adoption.
